Puddle Jumping in My Rubber Boots.

Today I had a couple of errands I had to run and since I don't have a running automobile I had to walk. It was all slushy and awesome outside, so I wore my rubber boots and jumped around a lot. I actually ended up walking around and hopping buses quite a bit more than was necessary.

I started at my house at 11:00. Walked to the library to pick up my holds (The Other Boleyn Girl and Three Plums in One!) which was a big mistake because they were the biggest books ever. I continued along Albert Street, lugging my books and my tired ass, to Shoppers Drug Mart to pick up my cheque. Don't ask. Then I walked to the Golden Mile and hopped a bus to Aimee's work. Or the bus that I thought would take me to Aimee's work, but in reality got me within about six city blocks of Aimee's work. Bummed around there for a while. Talked about.. stuff, and then headed over to 13th where I hopped another bus at Safeway to get back to the Southland mall. Then I went to the bank, payed my horrendously high credit card bill, walked past the library and all the way home again.

Then I phoned Clair because she had phoned me because I had phoned her (Do you follow?) about Danny Michel playing in Regina (!!!!) while I'm away. BUMMER! Danny Michel is totally one of my musical loves. I pretty much burned a hole through his CD from listening to it OVER and OVER again. Oh well, I'll be in Paris that night!

I think I'm going to take my mom for the sushis tonight. Maybe! I'm starving.
