Halloween.

-became incredibly drunk, incredibly fast by drinking "*swamp water"
-held a person's hair while they puked
-talked with the mafia
-may or may not have embarassed myself in front of someone from work
-was a greaser to Kenzie's pin-up girl, but was generally too cold to take off my jacket
-hugged people a lot
-saw La-La the Teletubbie(sp?)
-was home and in my pyjamas by 12:00

Also, I think I talked to the soccer boy the most I've ever talked to him today. We talked about my greaser costume. Awesome. I'm sorry if this is incoherent or if anything is spelled wrong.

*Swamp Water: A mixture of every liquor on the table. At one point I did about a 5 shot**.

** 5 Shot. Five one ounce shots at once.

Exclamation Marks!

Tomorrow at work I think I'm going to subtly (read: not so subtly) hint to the soccer boy that I'm going to O'Hanlon's for Halloween. He'll show up dressed as a shower like the karate kid and then we'll make out inside it. Sound good? Good. Settled!

Tonight was my last night at the chiropractor's office!!! WOOOOO. It was really lovely. The Riders playoff game was on TSN and so we were all running back and forth between the staff room and our jobs. Such a good game!! In case you didn't watch, it was probably the best game I've ever seen. We won, by the way. Now B.C. has to lose to Calgary and then we'll have a home playoff game!!

I was in a Mr. Sub with the quarterback of the Rams tonight. I don't want to write his name, just in case he's full of himself and gets a google alert everytime someone talks about him.

Flu Season.

I am filled with great stories today. Like:
I saw someone I know, driving today.
I was going to have ceasar salad for lunch but my lettuce had all wilted.

For reals though, I just got back from washing all of the bird shit off of my car. I took my dogs with me and they were freaking out. I didn't go to one of the drive through ones because I'm broke, so I washed it myself with the huge high power water gun. I wish I had gotten a picture of their faces. Priceless. It was kind of like this:In this scenario I guess I'm the huge brown dog.

Boyfriend Of The Week #24

Meet Chandler Bing. If I can't have the soccer boy, or the cute boy from the grocery store today, then I will take Chander Bing because he's the guy equivalent of me. Could I be any more right about this?

Happy List.

1. I just re-read an old message that said, "You're usually my first thought in the morning and my last thought at night. You're like the parentheses that hold my day together." Isn't that lovely?
2. Impromptu lunch with Kate today.
3. Calling in sick to the chiropractor clinic. This whole night feels like awesome stolen time.
4. Longer than necessary smiles with cute boys.
5. "A Reason To Believe" when sang by Wilson Phillips.
6. When people accidentally leave CD's in my car.
7. Mints with chocolate centers.
8. Calling people at work by their nicknames. White Sparrow and Joe Mama.
9. Soccer boys.
10. Sunflower seeds.

Honorable Happy Moment:

When I was on the phone with Clair at work and she saw the header of my blog. She sort of squealed when she realized it was from her cabin.

Or when my boss walked up to my desk and I told Clair to shut-up and then I hung up on her.

Soccer Boy.

I had a really awesome dream last night where I started dating the adorable soccer boy, and then this morning at work, when it was raining, the soccer boy came in and sort of shook out his hair. I really want to date the soccer boy now. Damn hell.

Boyfriend Of The Week #23

Meet Leslie Feist.Even if she doesn't have boy hair, she was still an excellent part of my weekend. She's so smart and a little quirky, but with just enough normal mixed in so that most everybody gets her. Also at the concert tonight, when she did the thing with her shoes, I almost died. Honorable boyfriend options for this week goes to Hayden, the whole of Cuff The Duke and Neil Young. You all rocked my face this weekend. Not Death Cab For Cutie though, all of you have hair length issues.

Also, I only did that last post because I felt it was my duty, not because I had actually planned on coming home and writing about how excellent I think boy hair is.

Case And Point... And Level.

A good part of my day was spent discussing my hairs levels and points with Kaiya's ex-boyfriend John. I said point he said level and something about stars. Anyway, it was kind of lovely.

I just spent the last hour of my night dancing around my house while simultaneously doing laundry, dishes and general clutter control. You know my current favorite song to dance around to? Come Around by M.I.A. featuring Timbaland. In a close second is Come Together by The Beatles.

The other day I was driving home from work and the sky was doing that thing that I love:

My October Desk.

These are the flowers from my very first press conference. I work for at the lottery office, somebody won a million dollars and didn't want to keep the flowers from his press conference so I got to keep them. These were the hearty ones that lasted three weeks. That was a great apple, and those are really good books. I read them when I'm bored, but I have to hide them inside of official looking papers, just in case someone is looking.
I had to number these balls 1-50 for a raffle that was held at a fundraiser that someone within my office was holding.
These are some of the two hundred plus bags that I had to stuff full of goodies for the same fundraiser. My hands turned green from plastic party beads.
This is my HUMONGOUS skeleton head for Hallowe'en. He sits on top of my desk and gives people seizures with his huge red, blinking eyes. Also he freaks the shit out of the accountant from Romania.

And Then Mother Earth Puffed Her Cheeks.

Things I Accomplished Today:
- 2 naps
- finished watching Grey's Anatomy
- cleaned up the house I'm bird sitting at
- finished reading my book
- took another nap
- washed my hair
- ate a yogurt

I'm teaching my dog to smile on command and he can almost do it.

I bought a new red coat and it's warm and lovely! I was kind of unsure about the collar line, but now I dig it.

I went out to Gray last night to have Thanksgiving Chinese food with my brother. We went out at the beginning of the snow storm and then crawled home for an hour afterwards. It was INTENSE! Think this:

but with 50% more snow and 100% less dragon.

Boyfriend Of The Week #22

Meet David Anders.

I forgot that I loved him until I was watching season three of Grey's Anatomy yesterday and he was on it! Only for an episode, and a minor role, but he was all adorable and pretending to be American.

Undecided With A Slice Of Happy.

I can' wait until I've finished my job. I have about three shifts left and then I'm back to just one job and not being tired all the time.

I was supposed to go home for Thanksgiving this weekend, but there's supposed to be some crazy snow storm on Sunday, and so I've opted to just "Go To Yorkton" this weekend. For those of you that don't know what that means, it's when I pretend to leave town, so I don't go out and generally hermit around my house for a few days. I guess I shouldn't have said that. It sort of defeats the purpose.

Happy List for Saturday, October 10, 2008.
1. I have two more full days of relaxing before I have to go back to work.
2. I only have three shifts left at my second job.
3. This one guy at my work always says "Give me some love" and then we shake our fingers at each other.
4. Chinese food for Thanksgiving
5. My brother picked up my Uncle Johnny's old International and he's going to be fixing it up in his spare time.
6. Gas has gone down considerably! It's still at 116.9 which is ridiculous because a barrel of oil is under ninety cents. It's still nice though. Hopefully it keeps dropping.
7. Riding the bus. There's nothing better after work than riding the bus. I unwind on the bus. Also there was this really cute guy on the bus the other day which never hurts.
8. My new 80GB iPod that is FILLED with music and podcasts.
9. The idea of running a marathon.
10. I just opened my Grey's Anatomy season four box set! I'm going to go start watching it RIGHT NOW!!

Sorceress Woman.

For the last week or so I have been listening to Marie Sioux on my bus ride home from work. I love her. She puts me into this completely relaxed state of mind, and then I fall asleep. I've fallen asleep on the bus the past two days. It's been glorious.

I'm in love with this little old man on my bus. He's on their everyday and he always gets off at the same stop, and then he tips his hat to the bus driver. Today he was wearing a fuzzy toque. I hope his little old wife knitted it for him. I don't like to think that he's going home to an empty apartment.

When I was waiting for my bus today, this girl beside me told this guy beside her "Curtis is going to beat you up." Curtis didn't seem impressed.

Mourning.

At the beginning of this week I fell in love with a truck. A beautiful, gorgeous '65 Mercury and I wanted to buy it, nay I was GOING to buy it, until everyone talked me out of it. I realize that it's for the best that I didn't buy it, but I'm really going to miss the cruises that I had already taken in my head.

On a completely unrelated note I went for a manicure today.
And then I went for a run when I got home.
Now I'm going to retire to my bed. I'm tres tired.
