The place we went was actually just called "Thin Lizzy". We went back there again last night, but no such luck in finding my Irish boyfriend, although Aimee did see this kid that she used to watch on YouTube, so that was pretty crazy.
I'm further impressed by the strength of the Irish drink. I had one drink and was pretty much completely smashed last night. So smashed that I took Aimee's dare to walk all the way home from Temple Bar backwards. It's about a mile maybe? I did the whole thing. When we got back to The Bunkhouse I even walked up the stairs backwards. We went home pretty early last night because I wasn't feeling so hot. I think the Burger King/vodka combination wasn't working so well with my stomach.
When we got back to the hostel, I wasn't really tired yet, so we went downstairs to play drunken Jenga. That didn't end up happening because there was some chick watching television and I fell entranced to the lure of vegetation. It was really strange. I'm not sure where the girl was from, but when she spoke English it was adorable. Aimee left and the girl and I watched an episode of Shark. Some Scottish guy came in after and started watching with us. When the program was over, nobody wanted to decide what we should watch next which led to a throw the remote at each other game. The girl lost out and picked this really lame ghost hunting show. The Scottish guy fell asleep and I went up to bed. I wasn't really feeling the alcohol anymore so sleep came easily.
Nothing really has happened yet today. Slept late, went shopping for a while, bought some more delicious muffins, went to H&M (which was kind of a let down) and then talked to my mom on the phone for a while. We're thinking of taking a bus tour around the city later because neither of us are really feeling like walking around in the rain today.
Emporiums that I have seen in the last day:
-shopping emporium
-drinking emporium
-good times emporium
I'm pretty sure there were more because they seem to have an emporium for everything here. Good times emporium was definitely my favorite.
