I Am Twenty Goin' On Eighty-Two.

I recently started knitting and now I'm kind of crazy about it.
Places I knit:
-in bed when I don't want to get up in the morning.
-on my bus ride to work.
-at my desk at work.
-on my bus ride home.
-at my desk at home.
-in my kitchen with a martini glass of grapefruit juice.
-in my car on the side of gravel roads while my dogs run around in fields.

I apologize to Matt for stealing this picture of Sufjan Stevens knitting off of his blog, but he just looked so darn cute and concentrated on his knitting.

My current knitting project. I'm making dishrags. I was going to make a scarf, but then I didn't add enough stitches. Also it would've been a horribly scratchy scarf. I might try to make a sweater next!

Also also, Aimee is on crack because she doesn't think that knitted dishrags is a thing. It totally is!

It might be a thing, but it doesn't mean I support it.

It IS a thing, and it should be supported. My house uses knitted dishrags almost exclusively. My grandma knits them and I am pretty sure that getting one for Christmas is my dad's favourite part of the season, except for maybe coloured lights.

It's just not a thing I know about. Nor do I care to.

Oh it's a thing. My family, like Clair's, uses knitted dishrags almost exclusively.

I hate them. They smell.

PS: I totally looked at Clair's comment after I posted so see if I plagiarized. I did.
