Greetings. I bet you're probably not expecting to see any blogs from today but we can't get into our hostel until 2:00 so I thought I'd catch you up on the adventures and misadventures of Aimee and A. We're finally in London, after roughly too many hours of travel to count. A bunch of funny things have happened, some not so funny things have happened. Mainly good times are to be had all around.
Longest bus ride ever, followed by the plane ride to Toronto and the uneventful trip to London made for some good times. I didn't sleep on the bus or the first plane ride, but I still feel really awake, which is strange. I'm probably just running on the idea of sleeping in a bed tonight! Yay!
We've been in the city now for about two hours and I have already decided that I would never in a million years want to live here.
Cons: Everything is so bustly and super busy. Everyone looks really relaxed, but stressed out, which makes me stressed out. The pigeons are very brazen. Everyone looks better than I do.
Pros: There are hot men in suits everywhere. Everyone is British.
Oh, did I mention that the airline lost my luggage? They say that it's in Calgary and I'm just praying that it is because I have absolutely no idea what I am going to do if I don't get it back. I hardly have enough money to stay afloat for this trip. Grr.. Twice in a row? I think after this trip I am never going to travel again because I hate losing all of my favorite stuff repeatedly. Bummer. I'm trying to push it to the back of my mind because I really want to enjoy the trip.
Also I am the smartest person I know. I've already managed to navigate the tube (through my anger tears at losing my luggage) AND found our hostel. Speaking of hostel, we should be allowed to go into our rooms soon. I should be going.

p.s. I swear that if I post again I will not sound so defeated. I really am having a good time I'm just simultaneously having a bit of a freak out.

You'll get your luggage back. You will. No worries.
Luggage is over rated, did you pack extra clothes in your carry-on? I hope so. London I think does have the most attractive people in the world. You will be fine, just sleep. And we are all beaming you love.
Also, I like thinking that the title means that airlines kiss. I would like to see some inter airline teller hook-ups in an airport. I think that would make a good tv show, not the reality one though...that one is sad.
Matt was right about the love-beaming. Your luggage, I'm told, is very self-reliant and will find its way back to you. Also: NO ONE looks better than you. Miss you guys.
